About the Role:

As an Appointment Qualifier, your primary responsibility will be to contact homeowners who have expressed interest in solar energy through our field-based lead generators. You’ll verify that the lead is valid, assess the homeowner’s needs, and confirm that they meet the necessary criteria for a solar consultation. You will use our CRM system to manage and track lead details, working closely with the sales team to ensure only high-quality appointments are passed along.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Phone-Based Sales/Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a call center or phone-based sales/customer service role is preferred, though not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: You can accurately verify leads and update information in our CRM system.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You’re skilled at engaging with customers over the phone, confirming their interest, and ensuring they understand the next steps in the solar process.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, data entry, and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard office software.
  • Understanding of Solar Energy: While previous experience in the solar industry is a plus, a willingness to learn about solar solutions is essential.
  • Team Player: You collaborate effectively with the sales and field teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contact homeowners via phone to verify the information provided by field-based lead generators.
  • Confirm the homeowner’s interest in solar energy and determine if they meet the criteria for a consultation with a sales closer.
  • Manage lead information in the CRM system, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly categorized.
  • Schedule appointments with valid leads for our sales closers, ensuring that the customer is ready for the next stage of the process.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with both the field team and sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to consultation.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and help optimize the lead generation process.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous phone-based experience in a customer service, appointment setting, or sales role.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and data entry, with strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Interest or experience in the solar energy industry is a plus, with a willingness to learn about solar products and services.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a cohesive team.

Hours of Work:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday with flexibility for part-time arrangements if needed.
