We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Solar Administrator to join our team. This work-from-home position is ideal for someone who excels in administrative support, enjoys working independently, and is passionate about renewable energy.

About the Role:

As a Solar Administrator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our sales and installation processes. Working remotely, you’ll play a key role in maintaining customer records, coordinating schedules, and communicating with suppliers, installers, and customers. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help keep everything on track, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers and installers to coordinate schedules and ensure the smooth running of operations and solar installations.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and courteous assistance, including troubleshooting and addressing customer issues.
  • Manage CRM data entry and maintenance with precision, ensuring customer records are up to date and accurate.
  • Schedule installations and maintenance services as needed, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
  • Assist in managing inventory and order supplies as required to support installation teams.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and assisting the team with other tasks as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in solar administration or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in administrative writing, with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Problem-solving skills to proactively address challenges that arise during the installation process.
  • Experience with accounting principles and software (Xero preferred) for handling basic financial tasks.
  • Experience with CRM systems and inventory management.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, willing to collaborate and support colleagues as needed.

Hours of Work:

  • Full-time hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Flexible working arrangements are available, including part-time opportunities with a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • We’re open to working hours that align with school schedules, as long as a commitment of 3 days per week is maintained.
  • Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience.
